I thought I read somewhere that the Veyron isn't even the fastest anymore. Still rather a McLaren F1 over a Veyron.

Yeah the Shelby Supercars SSC Ultimate Aero beat the Veyrons 407km/h top speed. So VW built the Veyron Supersport which is faster again (last episode of Top Gear had the thing at like 430km/h)
