Who Are You Going To Vote For And Why This Election

I'll be voting coalition. As much as Abbott is an ultra-conservative, at least the party he represents has a far better history of keeping this country in good financial condition (as Brian mentioned)
Between insulation schemes, bullshit bonuses, and other dickheaded money wasting ideas, Labor has done nothing but fuck this country in the 4 years it has been in. We used to have a Surplus!!!
Same goes for QLD, Labor has royally screwed this place as well... why else do you think they are trying to sell everything... they have wasted all the money. Its almost like watching a gambling junkie running off to cash converters to hock whatever it can to feed its spending habits.
Sooner that party is out of both state and federal governments the better I think.
And as for the broadband network, big fucking deal... there are far greater issues than the bloody internet.

how about worrying about our own homeless struggling citizens, overcrowded hospitals, piss poor infrastructure - highways, roads, hospitals etc
instead of worrying about a stupid internet filter, which will compromise the faster broadband network, and the friggen boat people. lets look after our own people and citizens before worrying about other country's problems.

how do you think i was recieved when everyone was doing cruises and raising funds for the tsunami victims overseas and doing the whole "i feel good about myself" and I suggested - lets raise money for local problems in brisbang / SE QLD and everyone said F-off.
Heh, those ######s received more money then they knew what to do with and now we have more problems here.

Agreed. Fuck the internet. NBN means nothing to me, I'm happy with the mediocre 4mbps I get at home. I'm more worried about the wasted money on the NBN that Labour have pissed away.
Also, Mark Latham came out and said there's nothing wrong with our hospital systems, after his own personal experiences... ROFL. Yes, because being a politician doesn't get you any priority or anything?

I for one hate what the Labour Party have done as in screwing around with everything financially but, thats who keeps us going (Union guys) to keep the rights to our work with allowances and penalty rates etc etc...
Without them and having Libs back in will be back to working for the big building companys for nigga wages!!!
its to fkn attention grabbing man,i dont like that

Do you actually understand anything about the policies of either party or are you just some shallow chauvanist who was given a right to vote because you came of age?
I personally am not a fan of the way the Labor party has run the country in the last 18 months - there was a lot of promise in the last election and not a lot of delivery. However gender aside, I do feel that Julia Gillard is a little more relatable as a person. Personally I think Abbotts view on women, contraception and abortion are outdated and mysogonistic so I'm really not in any way drawn to him though the Liberal party as a whole is slightly less conservative. Certainly a tough choice...
