Hey all im chasing a set of 19inch deep dish rims for my r33 skyline, and was wondering where to go to find that jap drift look without breaking the bank.
I was thinking maybe the lenso modify s7's or something similar.
If any one has any thoughts on rims please write the name and brand of the rim, and the same for where abouts to look for rims cheers all.
If you could post pics would be awsome as well cheers guys.

lenso s7 what ya think???

EXTRA QUESTION
Also guys what off SET is normal and realistic. as i dont want the inside of the tyre wearing to quickly??

Hey man, having owned cheap rims, i can tell you it isn't worth it if you want them to look good for more than a few months.
Deep dish are also more susceptible to damage on non-axial shock loading. Go for a better brand.
You can visit the Jax Quick Fit shops for prices on stuff on their website.
Keith 4 Wheels I think
Just do a google and um like option1garage etc for other stuff.
If you go anything bigger than an 18 in deepdish for exy stuff you will fuck your handling
Anything bigger than 17 in cheapys and it will be fu cked too.
I'd stay away from non genuine copys too like koya drifteks and shit like that.

When increasing the width which you'll need to for decent dish you'll have to change the offset and that's going to really effect the handling of your car so be really careful.

Go some s/h jap wheels like http://www.nissansilvia.com/classifieds/vi...g.php?view=1581
or http://www.nissansilvia.com/classifieds/vi...ng.php?view=235

http://www.nissansilvia.com/classifieds/vi...g.php?view=1822 if you end up fouling your guards it will cost you shitloads to fix so get them rolled and proper camber setup when putting them on, hope that you are on c/o's and have camber arms for your sake

I'd be looking on nissansilvia.com, skylinesaustralia and even boostcruising for cheap used wheels. Trading post is also pretty good on occasion. It just is not worth it buying new rims unless you want awesome quality or ridiculous/rare offsets and sizes. Most cheap/copy wheels have pretty high offsets (+35 or more) so guard clearance won't be too big an issue (but 19s may change that). It's when you get the genuine article with low offsets you will definitely encounter issues.

For what it's worth, I don't think the Lenso S7s are nice wheels at all, but I don't like the ones they copy, the GT-7s (like Pras linked above). If you want a "JDM look" find some used Jap rims (and I'd stay with 17s or 18s, but it's up to you- handling will be a trade-off if you go too big).

To rattle off wheels I'd chase, TE37s (I saw a set of TE37s, 17x9.5 all round +12 or +22 offset for $2300 not long ago- bronze colour, and if they had not sold prior to me finding them I'd have grabbed them), GT-Cs (probably my favourite wheel, the ones linked above would fit hassle-free as well), or GT-Ns, and SSR Professors can dip under 2k if you are looking often enough.

Umm, there's a set of Work Stichs for sale (absolutely mint old school design) and I sort of wish I hadn't bought my new wheels because these are what I was chasing for ages :) http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...44&hl=stich They are a staggered set, but the offsets are fantastic and the condition looks awesome.

These are pretty popular wheels (except the Stich rims) so sets come up for sale regularly. Alternatively, buy my set of 17s if you get desperate :P
