Here is a link to a tyre size calculator for those of you wishing to go up tyre/rim sizes... It calculates overall rolling diameter so that thing like speedo readings, traction control computers, and the like are not thrown out too much...

This thing is incredibly handy. The size of rim/tyre I was going to get is pretty much exactly the same as my current rim/tyre.
Where do I go from here...

just remember dude.. base the OEM wheel size on that website on what is written on your tyre placard in the car.

Woo tyres I want (235/40/R18) are pretty much exactly the same size as the current wheels on there (the big ones do 1 more revolution per kilometer compared to the stockos)
Where do I go from here...
